The elections took place on Thursday, May 19th, 2022 at about 2:00 pm. The results of the elections were announced by the Electoral Chairman, Ileri Akinosun, a 400level student of the Department of Business Administration. The Dean of Students, Mrs A. O. Olive- Adelodun, while speaking on the elections, noted that the exercise was conducted freely and fairly. To acquaint the newly elected executives with the responsibilities of this enormous assignment, an orientation programme was organised for them on Wednesday, 29th May, 2022.
The inauguration ceremony organised for the new executives was held on Thursday, June 2nd, 2022. The occasion was graced by the Dean of Students, Mrs Olive-Adelodun, Dr. G. Adeyeni, Mr A. Adenuga, and members of the Electoral Committee. The newly elected speaker, Miss Islamiat Afolabi, while thanking the Management and students for the opportunity to serve, stated that her administration would be responsive, committed, and accountable. She promised to work hand-in-hand with the University Management to champion the cause of the institution.
