Microbiology

Microbiology

Microbiology which is an applied biological science revolved around understanding the living world of microscopic organisms and applying the understanding of microbial life processes for the benefit of humankind and earth.

The B.Sc. Microbiology degree programme at Hallmark University has the following objectives:

  • To equip the students with modern and adequate research techniques and skills that is of value in microbiology and related fields
  • To provide the students with adequate exposure to the theory and practice of microbiology
  • To develop in the students the ability self-reliant and to apply the knowledge and skills acquired to solving theoretical and practical problems in microbiology
  • To produce world class microbiologists who can compete with their counterparts the world over and fit into advanced programmes within and outside the country
