Biochemistry

Biochemistry  is rigorous, exciting and interdisciplinary, with strong theoretical and experimental foundation. Emphasis is laid on research and hands – on learning. It is dedicated to teaching and mentoring in a collaborative environment.

The B.Sc Biochemistry degree programme at Hallmark University has the following objectives: 

  • To give our students an intellectually stimulating and satisfying experience of learning and studying with a mind to creating strong enthusiasm for biochemistry.
  • To develop in our students the ability to apply knowledge and skills to solving theoretical and practical problems in biochemistry.
  • To develop in our students, a range of transferable skills that are of value in biochemistry and non-biochemistry related employment
  • To provide our students with broad knowledge and skills base that prepares them for further studies in specialized areas of biochemistry or multi-disciplinary areas involving biochemistry
