HU STAFF RETREAT

The Quality Assurance Committee of the University recently organised a retreat for members of staff at the University auditorium on Thursday, 3rd February 2022. The theme of the retreat was “University Ethics, Method and Practice of Teaching, Examination Matters, Effective Leadership, and Quality Service”. Present at the workshop were the Vice- Chancellor and other Principal Officers, Guest speakers, and all members of staff. The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Segun Odunola, in his keynote address dwelt on the need to be dutiful in every given assignment and also noted that the workshop was organised to improve the quality of service delivery to the public. One of the speakers, Mr. Oluwatobi Sami (Production Manager, Nestle Ltd) spoke on “Effective Leadership and Quality Service”. Thereafter, Prof. Bolanle I. Akeredolu-Ale (former DVC, FUNAAB) delivered her lecture on “University Ethics”. Lastly, Dr. J. T. Bamgbose (Dean, FNAS and Chairperson, Quality Assurance Committee) talked on “Methods and Practice of Teaching and Examination Matters”. The programme which started at 9:00 a.m. came to a close at about 1:00 p.m. The University Registrar, Mr. Afolabi Ajayi, rounded off the programme with the Vote of Thanks.
