NOTICE OF EID-EL-FITRI PUBLIC HOLIDAY

 

Following the declaration of Fridav, 21st and Mondav, 24th of April, 2023 as public holidays to mark the year 2023 Eid-El-Fitri celebrations, the Vice-Chancellor on behalf of Senate has directed that the University shall temporarily be closed down on those two (2) days to mark the occasion.

 

All members of staff are to observe this period, with the exception of those on essential services such as Hostel Wardens, Health Centre, Technicians (electricity/water supply), Canteen Staff and Security Operatives who should be on ground to ensure that these services are maintained without any disruption.

 

All students are to remain on Campus on those two (2) days except those that may wish to travel out of the campus to celebrate the festival. Such students are expected to obtain the usual EXEAT from the Students’ Affairs’ Office.

 

We are all expected to resume our respective duties on Tuesday, 25 April 2023 at 9:00 am
